Cannot read signature
Not sure if it's just me, but I can't read the part between the 2 Gnomes on SC's signature.
Running Windows, IE 11 (version 11.0.9600.17416)
I can read it when I log on to full forum on my IPhone running Safari though....

Re: Cannot read signature
Strange. It's the same image slider that appears at the top of the forum pages, to the right of the banner. Can you see that one Jimbob, or is that missing too. It works fine on my pc in Firefox, on my Android phone and also on my Dad's iPad. Have you got JavaScript switched on in your IE browser? It needs JavaScript enabled (which it should have by default).

just double checked - No banner in the top right on IE11, but it's there on Safari.
Java IS enabled on IE11!

Re: Cannot read signature
Ok. I've done a bit more experimenting.
The slider runs in its own page and is displayed in the forum in an iframe.
If you go here nivo.html you should find our slider working no problem, so I assume it's due to the way IE renders (or doesn't render!) iframes. I wish they would just call it a day with IE or fix all the bloody problems! I'll have a look when I get a bit time as to why the iframe isn't rendering correctly.

Re: Cannot read signature
I'm not particularly bothered if / when it's fixed.
Just didn't want any of our newer members missing out.

Re: Cannot read signature
Well, it looks like it works fine on IE9 and IE10 but not on IE11, so it looks like they've broke something again!
I might try adding a meta tag to the code to force the page into IE10 compatibility mode for anyone viewing with IE11. It's because of things like this that I gave up using IE years ago!
Thanks for bringing this up Jimbob.

Re: Cannot read signature
Its just down to pure laziness that I've not installed Firefox on this new laptop.

Re: Cannot read signature
I think I have fixed the problem with IE11. Can you give it a try now Jimbob and let me know if it's any better? Thanks.
xLc - I have added a meta tag near the very beginning of 'overall_header.html' that forces IE11 browsers into IE10 compatibility mode. This means all IE11 iframe problems should disappear.
The single line of code I have added is:
I tested the site in Windows 8.1 running IE11 browser on the SAUCE server, which is a browser test site, and it worked fine on there, but I'd like to hearr from Jimbob or anyone else who couldn't see the slider images whether it has been successful on their machines.
