A warehousing, contract packing and supply chain solutions provider has reinforced its senior warehousing and operations team as the business continues to prosper.
Carlton Forest Group, which has its headquarters and distribution centres across North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and the Sheffield City Region has recruited three Warehouse Managers Ian Beswick, John Bower and Alistair Plant, who bring over 50 years combined experience in managing large scale warehouse and logistics operations.
Diane Ward Chief Operating Officer commented; “We have been working incredibly hard over the last year or so to increase our capacity, operations and customer base and as a result it has been necessary to reinforce the management structure to ensure our seamless operation and enviable OTIF figures continued. We offer them all a warm welcome and their detailed knowledge of complex warehousing, logistics and distribution will greatly assist in our continued growth and expansion plans for the future.”
In recent months, the group has expanded its warehousing and now has over 400,000 sq ft of space which supports supply chain solutions of some of the country’s biggest retailers across retail, FMCG and food and drink. It is accredited to BRC AA status.
“Credit must also go to Graham White our Group Commercial Manager who has responsibility for business development and marketing across all divisions of the Carlton Forest Group, said Diane. “His drive and determination has been pivotal in this initial growth and the vision he has for the future expansion and strategic development of all our business sectors is exciting.”
Carlton Forest Group offers a full range of warehousing and logistics services including contract warehousing, contract packing, national distribution, WMS and stock control and bespoke fulfilment solutions.
