Pimlico plumber trial/verdict

Surely a case like this could have repercussions for all self employed couriers too, who get shafted all the time because they're self employed ?

I've been doing sameday work for a big name company for nearly 10 years, although due to their utter incompetence over the last 18 months I'm on the verge of quitting.
But wouldnt it be nice to be able to claim holiday pay, sick pay that I've never been able to see over that period because I've always had to be available for work. ( I'm naively over loyal to customers despite the big name not giving a flying f... about them )
