You will also have to work around the clock to earn anywhere near £1k/week.... Oh and will cost you £4/500 in fuel to earn that, and you will also need full courier Insurance..............

Ive been working for rico sameday the past 12 weeks, and well what can i say, im one of the lucky ones then, i work from Chester depot, and clear between 6-900 per week with no issues, hrs are flexible to suit me, and the on call weekend work has supplements of 25% of docket price, you have a choice of multi drop ideal if running the van, or work as a dedicated courier for the likes of b.t or the nhs jobs, i work the nhs jobs, where will be transporting anything from body parts through to implants, patient notes and the likes, mileage is paid at 49p per mile if using a car or scooter, 75 or 90 ppm for the vans, so soon racks up, and theres plenty of return work from the other depots,

;) If you have a good Depot/Controller, there is scope to earn good money, plus the option for out of hours work.We had quite a few runs to Scotland which was good especially if you were doubling up...... We regularly had guys doing £1-1.5k per week  if your face fitted and you could put the hours in, but that was quite a few years ago, and i have lost contact with those that remained at Rico.

Warrington can be a funny depot lol, a lot of their drivers dont like travelling distance but i do know they are short of decent drivers as Chester are always being asked to cover jobs from that depot, as for is it worth it, well my minimum is 600 on a 5 day week using a car, and making use of the other depots on route to take multi drops and back jobs where available, ive peaked at 985 a week for an average of 10 hr days, the only drawback for a new starter would be you need the first weeks fuel upfront as your not getting paid for the first week, working a week in hand, theres also been rumours that warrington especially tina skims a little of the drivers for each job, so check your mileage against the self bill invoices, but all in all warrignton does have some good runs, its like any job, if you put in the time and effort then the rewards are worth it
